[Groupe Pop]SS501

SS501 (à prononcer « Double S Five O One ») est un groupe pop sud-coréen qui est sous le label de la Daesung entertainment, plus connu sous le nom de DSP entertainment. Le nom du groupe, SS501, signifie « Star Singers five forever becoming one » : le 5, le 0 et le 1 symbolisent les cinq chanteurs qui ne forment plus qu'un pour toujours.

Je les ai connu avec BOF, enfin pas vraiment connu puisque je les connaissais déjà de nom avant mais sans y prêter réelle attention donc depuis leur mini-album "Rebirth".
Depuis, je suis de plus en plus fan d'eux...

J'ai decouvert le groupe grâce à la OST de BOF et en cherchant j'ai vu que c'était Hyun Joong le leader du groupe. ^^
Ces gars sont vraiment marrants, rien qu'en regardant certaines vidéos sur YouTube, pas un pour rattraper l'autre!!

SS501 Loves Ya and wins K-Chart on Music Bank

There have been lots of rumors flying around recently about the future of SS501, especialy surrounding their contracts which had supposedly expired last week.

DSP Media has today issued a statement through SS501’s website to state their stand and put down speculation,

" Hello everyone. This is DSP Media.

SS501 Love Ya promotions has ended with effect from last week, June 13th. It’s a pity for Triple S that promotions were so short.

It felt like only yesterday when SS501 debuted through KMTV Show! Music Tank on June 8th, 2005. It has already been five years~

Like what all Triple S knows, SS501 members’ contracts had expired on June 7th, 2010.

During our preparations for this album, we had discussed about the length of promotions considering the contract expiry date. So we decided to keep promotions to within 2 – 3 weeks.

The SS501 members have not reached a conclusion regarding their future with the company. So we cannot give an official stand at the moment. We will announce their future once it has been finalized to Triple S.

We will produce a MV for the song Let Me Be The One from their Destination album, with footage from SS501 activities. It will be released in the middle of next week. We will announce a specific date in due time.

We are sorry for the short promotions and we hope that Triple S can soothe their feelings a little by enjoying the sight of SS501 in their Let Me Be The One MV.

We are really grateful to Triple S for helping SS501 to win the K-Chart twice.

Kim Hyun Joong is currently in the Phillipines for a solo performance at a local concert while reports coming out of Taiwan have indicated that not all SS501 members will travel to Taiwan, on June 26th for the 21st Golden Melody Awards. They had earlier said they will attend to present an award and perform.

Kim Hyun Joong’s representative has already indicated that he will not go. Park Jung Min and Kim Hyung Joon have verbally agreed to attend while Heo Yong Saeng and Kim Kyu Jong are still considering. All members are currently on a rolling contract to fulfil their SS501 duties until the end of the month.

Kim Hyun Joong confirmed to leave DSP Entertainment

Citation :: For the past couple of months, there have been rumors circulating that SS501’s leader Kim Hyun Joong would leave his agency DSP Entertainment once his contract comes to an end.

Well, it’s been confirmed that this one is true after all.

A related source confirmed on the 28th, “Kim Hyun Joong has decided not to renew his contract with DSP Entertainment. … He will move to another agency.” It’s also been reported that Hyun Joong will enter Keyeast (키이스트), an agency known for its prominent actors including Bae Yong Joon, Park Ye Jin, Bong Tae Gyu, Lee Bo Young, Lee Na Young and Hwanhee, so it’s very likely that Hyun Joong’s career will take the acting route.

Due to Kim Hyun Joong’s decision to leave DSPE, there are now questions about the rest of the members of SS501. Many wonder if this will mark the end of SS501, or whether the rest of the members will follow the routes of Shinhwa and g.o.d and complete promotional activities together with Hyun Joong under different agencies.

UPDATE: According to new reports, DSPE hasn’t decided whether SS501 will gain a new member or become a quartet, implying that, although Hyun Joong will be leaving the group, his departure won’t mark the end of SS501. As the rest of the members of SS501 are working on renewing their contracts with DSPE, fans can only hope for the best until an official statement is released.

SS501’s Dissolution Is Not Official

Citation :: I’m sure everyone all over the world has been shocked by the news of Kim HyunJoong deciding to leave DSP Entertainment. However there’s still some hope left as SS501’s disbandment is not official.

A close acquaintance of Kim HyunJoong has recently mentioned that “is no formal dissolution,”. Following that, an official has also stated:

“Since the beginning of this year, Kim HyunJoong has thought deeply about the future of his career. Regardless of whatever path he chooses to take, everyone has agreed that an official disbandment is not what we want. He has said the same to his close acquaintances as well. No matter how one views it, it seems that SS501 will stay in some form or another. “

Even though Kim HyunJoong has signed under Key East, the all of the members have high hopes for SS501 to continue. Many have speculated that SS501 would do the same as ex-boy band G.O.D, where the members continue group activities despite being signed under different labels.

In addition to all of the rumors, DSP Entertainment has also stated:

” Heo YoungSaeng, Kim KyuJong, Park JungMin, Kim HyungJoon are all undecided on this matter. The members plan to take a break to think about this and decide on what they want to do.”

With all the shock, I’m sure fans will be glad to know that SS501 will not be disbanded just yet, we will have to wait and see what the future brings for this group. We wish them the best of luck.

As many of you know by now, SS501 leader Kim Hyun Joong officially left DSP Entertainment to join KeyEast Entertainment, leaving some doubt into the future of SS501. However, it seems KeyEast would like to see SS501 continue as the company stated that they would support any plans for the group’s future activities, whatever they may be.

Currently, the other SS501 members are free agents as their contracts with DSP Entertainment have expired. There’s rumors that the group members are actively seeking to sign with a new management company. However, it’s in the groups best interest to continue as SS501. If the members were to sign to different agencies, they could still continue to operate their album activities as SS501. Legendary K-pop group Shinhwa have done just this with the individual members signed with different companies for their solo activities but coming together as Shinhwa as one for all group activities.

Hopefully SS501 continues to be together for a long time.

J'ai aussi lu je sais plus où qu'il y aurait des bruits qui courent par rapport au fait que Hyun Joong n'ai pas ressigné car il utilisait sa signature comme menace pour DSP pour qu'ils fassent ressigner TOUS les membres. Ils n'auraient pas proposé de renouvellement à Kyu Joon et Young Saeng ... ou avec des conditions nulles et Jung Min et Hyung Joon apparemment ont été approchés par la même boite que Hyun Joong, KeyEast Entertainment. Le leader apparemment aiderait Kyu Joon à signer avec YP.

Après ce n'est qu'une synthèse de mes lectures des différentes trad d'articles sur des forums de fan, je n'ai aucun moyen de vous garantir la fiabilité des sources !

Si il se trouve que ça soit vrai, je trouve ça bête de la part de DSP de faire ça à Kyu Joon,Young Saeng et le reste du groupe. Là ils ont quand même perdu un bon groupe.

Après comme tu l'as ce n'est qu'une rumeur!

De toute façon, on ne peut que leur souhaiter que du bons pour leurs futurs activités.

The fate of the other members were still left up in the air. But recently, news have come up about Park Jung Min joining a Taiwanese company. Though nothing has been officially stated, he supposedly has joined the Sony Music Taiwan.

SS501 is already very popular in Taiwan so I wouldn’t be surprised if Park Jung Min did decide to join a foreign company. But Park Jung Min himself stated in a self-penned message on DSP website this afternoon that he has not signed any contract yet. Contract talks are ongoing but there are no results yet.
