CNBLUE reveals that they don’t have cell phones

Citation :: 4-member idol boy band CNBLUE revealed that they don’t carry cellular phones through the recent Mnet cable broadcast M Rookies. They stated, “Since we don’t have cell phones, we’ve never went on a late night out before.”

The co-host of the show Son Ho Young, having been a member of one of the old school idol groups g.o.d., emphasized and expressed: “I know a lot about the lifestyle because I’ve also lived in a dorm before. The question that newly debuted artists are often asked is about their dorm life.”

Lives without cell phones? Something that probably most of us wouldn’t be able to bare. It’s also a bit ironic because CNBLUE leader Jung Yonghwa recently endorsed the cell phone Xperia X10 for Sony Ericcson.

Also, on this interesting broadcast, CNBLUE was also asked ‘which member is complete opposite when compared to their celebrity life and their ordinary life’ and ‘the member who doesn’t come to the dorms often,’ to which most of the members pointed at the team’s maknae Jungshin.

This was Jung Yonghwa’s first time singing a duet song. He said,

“This is my first time singing a duet song since I was born and I am honored that it was with Lyn.”

To this Lyn responded,

“I also really glad that I got to do a duet with Jung Yonghwa.”

Citation :: Recently, CNBLUE’s Yonghwa has made some ridiculous comments regarding his looks.

20 lucky fans were chosen from 200 others to attend an online fan meeting through cable channel OnGameNet’s He’s On Live. The fans were most curious about how Yonghwa looked in person, which was nothing surprising since most people desire to see their favorite celebrities in person. However Yonghwa responded,

“I’m nothing much in person… I look better on TV. That’s why I like this job.“

Last month on another program Yonghwa said,

“I’m the type to easily get sick of.“

Fans have responded, “Jung Yonghwa saying that his face is nothing much is close to being a ludicrous statement.” and have grouped his outrageous statements by calling them the Ludicrous Series. The majority of fans have judged his comments positively saying, “His off the wall comments are part of his charm” “He doesn’t seem arrogant, rather his looks are shining more.”

CNBLUE brings Love with special stages on M! Countdown

To commemorate Mnet M! Countdown’s 200th episode special, many special performances were held, and CNBLUE was one of the idol groups to participate.

The boys took on quite the amount of songs including Rain’s It’s Raining, 2NE1’s I Don’t Care, G-Dragon’s Heartbreaker, and Taeyang’s Look At Meand did a spectacular job performing each and every one of them!

The Asia tour will kick off in Seoul next week, and after that, the boys of CN Blue will be traveling to various places in Asia to continue the tour.

In a recent press conference, FNC Music said that CN Blue would be going to Hong Kong and Singapore in August; Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan in September; and China in October.

Ever since their debut, CN Blue has reached considerable success and has also gained many fans. In addition, the group’s songs have topped music charts in Korea as well as overseas. With so many accomplishments already, it’s no surprise that CN Blue would already be holding their first Asia tour ever!

Citation :: CN Blue successfully wrapped up their first concert last July 31.

In the CN Blue concert which was held at the AX Hall at Gwangjin-gu, Seoul with around 3,000 fans, CN Blue captured everyone with their magnificent performance.

The first part of the concert began with the song “Let’s Go Crazy” from their 2nd mini album, followed by “Love Revolution”,”Voice”,”Tattoo” and “Just Please”. Then in the 2nd part, clad in their clean white suits, CN BLUE performed softer and sweeter songs like “Love”,”Sweet Holiday” and “Love Light”. In addition, for encore performance, Jong YongHwa sang “A Song For A Fool”, from his debut drama “You’re Beautiful”. The fans were really impressed with the performance.

CNBLUE performed 20 tracks from their Korean and Japanese albums, and fans were seen singing along all of the songs while enjoying the concert.

The concert had been running for nearly 2 hours and even without dancing or gimmicks, since CNBLUE performed live, they paid special attention to the sound quality. All members did sound check (before performing) even more seriously than the rehearsal.

Meanwhile, this concert also attracted many overseas fans. Besides Korea, fans from Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan were also present and this shows that they are popular all throughout Asia. Fans who regret not getting the tickets were also seen at the concert venue to experience the atmosphere.
